Carnival 2009 a success despite the weather!

 

Carnival 2009 was deemed a success despite the atrocious weather and we have managed to make a profit - albeit a rather small one - and are able to donate some money to our designated Charities!

 

Carnival 2010 will be held in Tudor Grange Park on June 12th 2010, and we will be hoping BRMB will once again host the event from their Roadshow stage.

 

The plan will be for the finalists in the 'Carnival's got Talent' competition to perform on their stage, assuming they support us in 2010 of course!

Carnival Charities

This year Carnival will be supporting two Charities, a well known National one - Marie Curie, and a local one that may not be as well known.

Carnival's got Talent
Carnival 2010 should see us once again calling on talent from the local area. The finalists will get to perform on Carnival day itself. We should be showcasing 3 acts from the Junior category and 3 from the 18+ group. Go to the Carnival's got Talent page to see video clips of all the acts who performed at the 2009 heats, and a list of the finalists.
Stalls at Carnival
We will again be providing space for any organisation that wishes to have a stall on the ground, but please be aware that you need to book your space in advance. The booking forms can be found by clicking here.
Carnival Procession
We intend to hold a bigger and better Procession than last year, and you can see the route the procession will be following by clicking here
 
 
 
Entertainment
Free Programmes at the gates will list the running order of entertainment. We again expect to host a full programme of entertainment, and with the theme this year we will be seeing some local talent on display!!

Wilson's Funfair

Possible running times, all subject to change before the event:

 

Thursday 10th June - 6:00pm to 10:00pm - likely that a wristband purchase will cover all the goes on the big rides for the whole evening

 

Friday 11th June - 6:00pm  to 10:30pm - look out for possible discount vouchers in local papers

 

Saturday 12th June - 1:00pm to 11:00pm
