Saturday Night Fancy Dress Hoe Down
Saturday Night Fancy Dress Hoe Down saw a significant posse of our own arrive at Edgbaston to enjoy the event!
There were plenty of drinks available on arrival and then it was 'party on' with food! after that 'Dolly Parton' put in an appearance, and also tried to get some of our members to 'get in rhythm' with her. Not sure how good it was, but everyone seemed to enjoy it!
After that, we had a few sketches, including dancing a bit of a 'Strictly' style routine from Coleshill, and while the judging was done there was a presentation by the 'Blackpool Roxx' Team.
After that it was 'party on' into the small hours to 'The Quik', an excellent party band. A great night had by all!
Further activities attended were the Thursday night Welcome Party in the magnificent Council House, the Friday Night Presidents' Ball, and the Final Night Fancy Dress Hoe Down, both of which were held at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in their new Conference suite.
